CRIS builds the software the Indian Railways actually runs on, which means the brief arrives with users already attached to it. The work was the IRITM admin portal: Angular and TypeScript on the front, Spring Boot behind, Bootstrap holding the layout together, delivered inside a cross-functional team of five or more developers working to Agile cycles.

Twenty-plus REST endpoints were engineered and deployed, reliably supporting 500+ daily users. Endpoint count is a weak measure of anything on its own; the useful part was that they held up, and that secure API delivery was treated as part of the definition of done rather than a later hardening pass.

Operational workflows improved by around 30%, largely through role-based navigation and a modular architecture that stopped every new screen from being a bespoke problem. Performance bottlenecks were identified and resolved, cutting API delays and improving overall responsiveness — the kind of work that is invisible until you stop doing it.
